Curriculum

Our curriculum aims to;

• provide opportunities for all pupils to learn and to achieve,
• promote pupils’ spiritual, moral, social, emotional and cultural development and to prepare pupils for the opportunities, responsibilities and experiences of life.

We organise the curriculum into half-termly teaching blocks, keeping English, mathematics and ICT discrete and covering other subjects through themed creative work. This allows us to increasingly work to a more personalised learning approach. The six areas of learning used with the youngest children is also increasingly used as a way of organising work throughout the school.
